This tournament is a great opportunity for Go players located in Lancaster to get familiar with the Go player community of the UK as well as potentially winning some prizes. It will be a class B rated tournament using MacMahon pairing system and consisting of 3 rounds of 40 minutes + 10 seconds fisher time. The AGA rules of play will be applied. In particular komi for even games will be 7.5 and 0.5 for handicap games (unless otherwise specified).

Be sure to pre-register online at https://www.britgo.org/tournams/lancaster/lancaster-form.html so we can be sure to have enough equipment! Registration onsite opens at 10:00. Registration will be £15 with a discount of £5 for BGA members and a cumulative £5 discount for students. The registration fee for youths (under 18) is £5. To be paid in cash on the day.

Location
This tournament will take place on the Lancaster University campus in the rooms Management School LT7 (for gameplay) and Management School LT6 (for reviews).
